Tiber Analytics

A New Way to Predict Student Success

With our analytics suite, we’re analyzing comprehensive data so universities can identify how students are performing in LCME-accredited classes and predict their potential… better than the MCAT.
The Tiber Predictive Model for medical school admission started as a creation of Dr. David Lenihan and a team of software developers and mathematicians. After spending years collecting and analyzing student data, our model has been fine-tuned with machine learning to become more accurate in predicting student outcomes and USMLE Step 1 performance.

We do more than just predict how students will perform in medical school.
We also accurately predict how they will perform on their USMLE Step 1 exam.

Tiber's model is transforming how we evaluate pre-medical master’s students and improve the admissions process for medical schools.

By comparing students to years of historical student data, Tiber’s Analytics Model can  predict with confidence an MSMS student’s future performance on the USMLE Step 1 Board score.

Tiber Analytics collects student exam responses to determine topical strengths and weaknesses in USMLE Disciplines, Systems, and LCME-accreditation standards.

The Tiber Gap Analysis models the student’s current level of understanding of the USMLE Systems and Disciplines as compared to past students that have successfully passed the USMLE Step One on their first attempt.

The MSMS includes a vast library of MD lectures to be consumed at home by students, and Tiber Analytics tracks how students are engaging with course content within the dynamic classroom.

Students, administrators, instructors, and partners all use this tool to view detailed video engagement statistics within the course.

Students are constantly updated on their performance in the MSMS and how our analytics are predicting they will perform in medical school.

Program Directors receive a monthly analytics report with student and class topical gap analysis, predicted Step 1 scores, and performance graphs.  Students have access to this data all the time, any time, within the Learning Management System.

There is a better way for medical schools to evaluate pre-med students than a single MCAT score. Tiber Analytics is bridging the gap with comprehensive student data.
Tiber Analytics is intrinsic to Tiber Health’s role as a leader in healthcare education and sustainability in the future of global sciences. We use an intuitive approach to evaluating pre-med students by collecting in-class quiz data and exam results from the same curriculum as the first year of medical school. This way, we can accurately predict student potential in medical school.

Tiber Analytics works for students and universities so we can all keep educating culturally-competent doctors of the future with the Master of Science in Medical Sciences (MSMS) program.
How Tiber Analytics works within the MSMS program to predict student success.

Track and visualize student performance and predicted success
De-risk students for medical school and professional health programs
Recruit qualified students for medical school
Expand graduate health sciences offerings
With Tiber’s methodology and analytics integrated into the MSMS, universities get comprehensive insight into an MSMS student’s potential and constantly monitor their progress.

In Tiber Analytics’ Student Performance Dashboard, professors and admins can visualize student proficiency in USMLE Systems, Disciplines, LCME standards, and their projected USMLE Step 1 score month-over-month.

Identify topical strengths and weaknesses according to USMLE
View USMLE Step 1 Performance Prediction
Receive feedback and reports detailing performance in LCME-accredited classes
Demonstrate success and connect with medical schools via the Tiber Portal
Tiber Analytics collects every student quiz and exam response to identify student strengths and weaknesses across USMLE Systems, Disciplines, and specific topics.

The collected data is used to produce video engagement statistics, personalized mid-term reports from professors, and monthly reports predicting USMLE Step 1 performance — all sent directly to students for their review.

Our pre-medical master’s methodology can identify and graduate thousands of high-quality students that will go on to become healthcare professionals all over the globe.
We’re only just getting started.
